The Seasons - WIP 1

Ecco la prima parte del pannello che realizzerò con uno schema di Bent Creek intitolato The Seasons.
Lo schema rappresenta le 4 stagioni in fila e questa è - evidentemente - l'inverno.
Ho avuto un po' di problemi con la neve, visto che sullo sfondo beige che ho scelto (una tela tinta a mano con il the) non risalta poi molto. Devo però aggiungere che lo scanner peggiora l'effetto e allo stesso tempo non rende lo sbrilluccichio dei fiocchi di neve (a punto smyrne), che invece dal vivo si vedono benissimo ;)


My first WIP for Bent Creek "The Seasons". I started stitching it on a hand-dyed cloth (I dyed it with some tea), which may be a bit too clear for all that white stitching. So I made some little changes on the original chart: I backstitched the white areas and then added a sparkling Kreinik filament to the snowflakes ;)
